Get an RV inspection, be informed and avoid a costly mistake in making your RV purchase decision.
|
RVSurvey and it's affiliates help smart RV buyers avoid costly mistakes by being better informed for their motorhome or travel trailer RV purchase decision and negotiation. RVSurvey provides a thorough, independent and unbiased on-site inspection of the buyer's selected RV using a proprietary inspection checklist. In many cases we find issues that have not been disclosed to the buyer.
|
Many RV buyer's do not know what to inspect to avoid costly repairs when selecting their dream RV. Some buyer's don't know what they don't know or don't spend the time required to thoroughly inspect their selected RV. The end result is dissatisfaction with their RV purchase because problems were discovered after the purchase.

This is how we recommend that you do it:
|
You do the research to find the RV with the features and the condition you want.
Contact RVSurvey to confirm that a detailed RV inspection can be provided for your RV.
Negotiate the purchase price with the seller based on getting a completed RV inspection report
from RVSurvey. (Get it in writing.)
Confirm purchase agreement with RVSurvey, provide seller contact information and RVSurvey will
schedule the inspection with the seller.
RVSurvey will conduct the inspection and contact the buyer by phone immediately after the
inspection is performed with preliminary results.
Results of the RV inspection are documented in a detailed RVSurvey inspection report sent
electronically to the buyer covering all the components of the RV, including digital photos of the RV
with problem areas highlighted.
Buyer reviews the inspection report then contacts seller to discuss inspection results and conduct
final purchase negotiation.
Leverage the RV Inspection Report
|
Information contained in the detailed RV inspection report can save the buyer thousands of dollars in costly repairs
and provide a better negotiating position on the final RV purchase price. Based on the results of the inspection, the
informed buyer has several options:
Walk away from the deal because repair costs and condition are not acceptable.
Request seller to repair problem areas identified in the inspection report.
Reduce purchase price to cover repairs identified in the inspection report.
