RVSurvey and our affiliates conduct on-site, independent RV inspections for motorhomes and travel trailers for local,
nationwide and worldwide RV buyers.
For the low price of $300* for a travel trailer or a motorhome, the report will provide you the detailed information you
need to make an informed decision regarding the purchase of your RV. This price is the base price plus travel expense to
inspect your RV. Many customers report saving far more than the cost of the inspection on the purchase of their new RV.
The RVSurvey Do It Yourself RV Inspection Guide provides detailed,
step-by-step instructions to conduct your own inspection. This is the same
inspection checklist our inspectors use. Receive the guide online for $19.95*
and conduct a detailed RV inspection yourself.

This is how we recommend that you do it:
|
You do the research to find the RV with the features and the condition you want.
Contact RVSurvey to confirm that a detailed RV inspection can be provided for your RV.
Negotiate the purchase price with the seller based on getting a completed RV inspection report
from RVSurvey. (Get it in writing.)
Confirm purchase agreement with RVSurvey, provide seller contact and unit description
information and RVSurvey will schedule the inspection with the seller.
RVSurvey will conduct the inspection and contact the buyer by phone immediately after the
inspection is performed with preliminary results.
Results of the RV inspection are documented in a detailed RVSurvey inspection report sent
electronically to the buyer covering all the components of the RV, including digital photos of the
RV with problem areas highlighted.
Buyer reviews the inspection report then contacts seller to discuss inspection results and
conduct final purchase negotiation.

Setting the standard for Pre-purchase RV Inspections
|
Some auto inspection companies are offering RV inspections. The RV is much more complex than an automobile. Our
experience has been that these companies spend much less time conducting the inspection with less qualified
inspectors. In many cases, these inspectors do not have experience even driving or using an RV.
A majority of our customers do not live in the area where the RV is located. We travel to the sellers location. We provide
a detailed unbiased and independent review of the RV so that the buyer knows what to expect before making the trip to
look at the RV. In many cases the issues are not deal breakers but inform the buyer what to expect and provide details
for further price or repair negotiation.
